Tekken 7 will begin rolling out to arcades across Japan in February, 2015, according to information apparently acquired from a recent Bandai Namco Autumn business meetings.

Bandai Namco announced Tekken 7 and its new-gen console release during fighting game tournament Evo 2014 in July. The latest iteration in the 3D fighting franchise uses Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4. According to Tekken 7 game director Katsuhiro Harada, it will give the developer the chance to focus on “making Tekken 7 the best possible game" instead of creating a new engine.
